About the Author

Nike Binger Marshall was born in Brooklyn, NY. She enjoys watching documentaries and often draws inspiration for her poetry and short stories from theses films. She also enjoys discovering and sharing little known black history facts, and artwork by African-American artists on her blog and social networks. Following a long break from writing, she revisited her passion for writing in 2004 and has been writing ever since. She is one of the winners of the 2008 Delaware Art Museum’s Eye/I Witness Gordon Parks contest, and is a contributing writer for Heed Magazine and has contributed other publications and anthologies including, Erotic Tranquility, and For This Cause Writers Unite: A Steamy T Pub Young Writers Flow Project, I Am Royalty: Profiles In Black History 3, and maintains a blog called Nike Writes. Nike currently lives in Delaware with her daughter.
